Dr Emily Bridson

I enjoy the variety of General Practice and the diagnostic process, including managing more urgent medical problems, while being in a position to work with you towards prevention and holistic wellbeing. Skin cancer medicine and surgery is a strong interest for me, as it allows us to treat skin cancers early and provide peace of mind. This is important in New Zealand with our high rates of skin cancer. I have completed several foundation certificates in skin cancer assessment, medicine and surgery, and am currently working towards the Skin Cancer College of Australasia Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy (this focuses on assessing moles for their risk of skin cancer). While I’m not at work I enjoy cycling, gardening, walking my dog and family time. I look forward to meeting you and helping with your general health and mole check needs.
